Sophomore Tristan Thompson of St. Benedict’s Prep in Newark, N.J. has committed to play for Texas. Fortunately we didn't wait until 2010 before we made contact.
Thompson, a 6'8" 215 pound power forward, is originally from Canada and is a big Kevin Durant fan. Durant was here only one year, but Rick Barnes is smart enough to capitalize on Durant's popularity. Our next two classes are going to be huge.
