Texas' athletic budget is expected to be $125 million for the school year 2008-2009. That represents a 16% increase from last year. Needless to say that's a lot of fucking money.

The increase comes from the expected revenue from the renovated Disch-Falk, the expansion of the north endzone of Memorial Stadium and ChrisApplewhite's bulk purchases of One Heartbeat.
Not surprisingly Texas is one of only '6-10' D1 schools that Texas AD Deloss Dodds says are in the black. Hopefully by a lot. But I wonder what would happen if we ever went back to the football revenue pre-Brown.
