The 5-star forward is expected to announce his decision today between Kansas, his father's preferred school, and Texas, Deandre's first choice. Duke and Oregon entered the picture, mainly as a concession to buy more time until they could agree on what's best for Deandre. Now it's back to Texas and Kansas. Reports came out on Tuesday that Deandre had called Bill Self to give him the bad news. Then the presumed announcement to sign with Texas yesterday was delayed.
The announcement should go down in the next few hours. Unless he decides to delay it again, which wouldn't surprise anyone at this point. The longer it gets delayed means the anti-Texas forces are winning.
Are we looking at yet another one and done? Most likely. Can he fill the void left at small forward by Hamilton's departure?

I'm going to stick my beak out and say it's Texas because of immediate PT and also because Kansas fans seem insulted by the fact he hasn't already committed to the Jayhawks. Be sure to check Rock Chalk Talk for either gloating or wailing and gnashing of teeth.
