I was over at 247 and just saw the amazing news that super star RB Nicholas Brosette is coming for an official, and that Charlie and the gang just offered seven Florida DB's within the span of an hour today. To be ineloquent but speak from the heart, this is just badass. I love that the staff is doggedly looking for the very best and brightest, all across the country, and that this is now about building a champion, wherever the talent may be found. Gone are the days of decaying indolence or entitlement. We're now instituting the sort of undeniable growth that is really going to pay off in a season or two, and if this trend continues we're going to send a lot of guys into the NFL, and in the rounds that matter, while grabbing ourselves some nice wins along the way. It happened and Louisville, and while that is a fine town and good program, I have to imagine that Texas is an even more enticing draw in terms of exposure, facilities, level of competition as preparation...you name it. This is just a great opportunity for both the players we're recruiting and the program itself to win together, and I hope we can get a few of these guys on campus before it's too late for them to be a part of the rebuild that is going to be here and gone before we're dominating, crushing, and owning week in and week out.
