Dayton basketball coach Archie Miller had his contract extended out to 2022 this afternoon, as the Flyers try to take Miller's picture off the "Most Wanted" poster hanging in every Athletic Director's office who is searching for a new hardcourt savior.
Miller, 90-47 in four years with Dayton, has a 5-2 record in two appearances in the NCAA Tournament over the past two years.
If you are fan of a school that is looking for a coach -- or might be in the next couple of weeks -- take note that Steve Alford agreed to a contract extension at New Mexico and then jumped ship to UCLA in a matter of days. Another interesting point is that no financial details were announced, and published reports have Miller making less than $500,000 a year with the Flyers.
