Player meeting at 5 p.m.
The bumbling finish to the 18-13 loss to Auburn was enough for LSU officials. Les Miles 12-year tenure in Baton Rouge is over. Miles has two SEC titles and a national championship along with a 78% winning record, but has failed to meet expectations over the past few years (see, Saban, Nick).
So the Tigers deep sixed Miles today and decided that if Tom Herman is available they want to be first in line. There could be several quality jobs open this years (USC, Auburn, and yes even Texas).
One thing is for sure. Herman is going to be miserable at each and every press conference from here on out.
