The Poonatrator is turning the corner and Tom Herman has noticed. In his April 11 press conference had this to say about our favorite stubby DL:
Ford has shown well both as a 4i and as a stunting NT and we should expect to see him lined up at both. The latter on passing downs or against any opponent with a center who can’t deal with a disruptive quick first step.
Earlier in the year, Herman expressed displeasure with the conditioning level of the DL. Much deserved fat shaming ensued (given that some guys were pushing 350+).
Expect a trimmed down, motored up #95 in September, 2017.
