As reported by Joe Cook on Inside Texas:
Orlando on the ILB spots:

-Adeoye's "had a great summer."
-Calls Jeff McCulloch a "veteran presence"
-Ossai "has played outside and can play inside"
-"We have a lot of flexibility in this package, especially at the second level."#HookEm
My thoughts:
- McCulloch had a nice Spring game and has shown the ability to get good zone pass drops. The question is lateral ability
- Adeoye is 6 feet and 250 pounds. Not particularly fleet of foot. Right now, I believe he’s a situational player when we need to bring in an alley stopper
- Ossai had a terrific end to his freshman season. I’m curious to see how he does off of the ball
- All of this needs to be understood in the context that Texas will spend 85% of its snaps in a nickel or dime formation. The team strength is DB - specifically, safety. Orlando knows this and it’s why he followed the above quote with this one:
Orlando: "I think you're going to see speed that's probably at a different level than what we've had around here."

"What I don't know right now is how we all come together." #HookEm

If you want to understand how this all interrelates and likely comes together and how the Texas defense can get back to 2017 form, I have a good reading rec for you...
