The Selection Committee for the College Football Playoff is supposed to include a sitting Athletics Director from each of the BCS conferences. Reports are surfacing that current West Virginia AD Oliver Luck will be the Big 12 rep.
Of course the next question for Longhorn fans is, where will Luck be hanging his AD hat in 2014? When Deloss Dodds made the announcement of his retirement official earlier this week, Luck's name was among those listed as a possible successor.
Luck declined to comment on either the playoff selection committee or being a potential replacement for Dodds at Texas.
The playoff selection committee is expected to be announced by the end of the regular season and will include 12-18 members.
Luck played at West Virginia and in the NFL and has been the AD at his alma mater since 2010. He also hold a law degree from the University of Texas.
