Why are there two Texas SB Nation sites? I joined just a bit ago to participate in a thread about ESPN and the trend of "cutting the cable." I didn't know I was joining a second Texas site. I don't have a problem at all with this, but it sure is curious. I thought I might have found a site about sports media.
So why in the world does this site and Burnt Orange Nation exist on the same platform? Is their a rivalry between the sites? How are they alike and how are the different?
I hope to get some feedback here. I am just curious and not trying to start a fuss or anything. I am a regular at Black Shoe Diares (Penn State). I migrated over there after getting frustrated with the tone at some other Penn State web sites. Too many trolls and Penn State haters. I like the easy going, slightly out of whack atmosphere over there. Other similar SB sites I have really enjoyed are And the Valley Shook (LSU) an Tomahawk Nation (Florida St.). Then there are some SB sites that are populated by folks that take themselves way too seriously, Bruins Nation (UCLA) and Behind the Steel Curtain (Steelers) and I am a Steelers fan!
