No Politics.

Stop it.

Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

I'm tired of policing this and cleaning up threads.  I've got better things to do. Y'all know the deal here.  It poisons goodwill. Even the little drive by comments.  I understand it's part of the culture and there are plenty of innocent and innocuous instances, but it's getting more purposeful and I'm not going down that road.

If we do discuss an idea that seems "political", it will likely be narrow, more about the idea than dumb tribalism and likely as it relates to sports.

If you can't abide that, go elsewhere.  There are plenty of other forums for you.

If you're so politically enthralled that you have to infect every part of your life and those of others with your (likely) bad political opinions, I really don't want you here anyway.

I truly wish we could discuss ideas, politics, civics and the direction of our great country.  Here and everywhere. Unfortunately, it has been proven time and again that we can't.  Large anonymous public forums seem largely incapable of reasonable discourse on subjects this polarizing and it's a quick race to the bottom.

Thanks for your attention, your tolerance of my grumpiness concerning the matter and for following one of the few guidelines we enforce.
