Texas-TCU Moving to Friday After Thanksgiving for 2016

Final home game moving off Turkey Day

Texas will give its fans Thanksgiving back this coming football season, as the final contest of the season with TCU will now be played on Friday.

The time and the network the game will be shown on has not yet been determined.

Thanksgiving has become a graveyard for college football on TV as the NFL  has a triple header scheduled that day. Texas A&M insists that the LSU game be on Turkey night when in College Station - as is the case in 2016. LSU moves it to the weekend when the game is in Baton Rouge.
