Sterns was Ed Orgeron’s first commitment at LSU and seemed a veritable lock to the Bayou Bengals, but the Cibolo Steele star visited Texas this weekend, Herman put in work, and Caden now lives in a Burnt Orange Cah-seeee-ta.
Sterns is a tall, rangy safety who likes contact, can cover a lot of ground laterally and is naturally explosive. He’s also skilled and very good with the ball in his hands as a WR and kick returner - that extra value-add that moves safeties from good to elite.
Sterns is definitely that. Welcome aboard.
