Art Briles may be back in college football this coming season. There is a report that Conference USA member Southern Mississippi will interview him for their offensive coordinator position as soon as today.
Briles was fired at Baylor in 2016 in the midst of a sexual assault scandal where an investigation from an outside law firm reported that under Briles, “football coaches and staff took improper steps in response to disclosures of sexual assault or dating violence.”
I think I can safely say that we at BC are not particularly thrilled with this prospect.
