Myles Turner will officially visit the Texas Longhorns this weekend

This is the biggie.

According to multiple sources, Myles Turner will take his final official visit this weekend. He will head to Austin to visit Rick Barnes and the Texas Longhorns. Recruitniks had stated for a while that Turner had promised Barnes that Texas would receive his final official visit. Despite the reassurances, it's still nice to see that Turner kept his word.

We've written ad nauseum about Turner, but in case you need a refresher, he's really, really good. Or, see here, here, and here.

Turner, a consensus five-star prospect from Euless Trinity, has taken official visits to the Oklahoma State Cowboys, Ohio State Buckeyes, Kansas Jayhawks, and Duke Blue Devils. He is also considering the SMU Mustangs, Kentucky Wildcats, and Arizona Wildcats.

According to 247 Sports' Crystal Ball, Kansas is considered the favorite. However, there is a lot of behind the scenes buzz that Turner really favors the Longhorns. Hopefully, Barnes and company make an "officially" great impression this weekend. Hook 'em.
