Edmond and Hicks cleared of wrongdoing by NCAA

Some good news.

Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

Steve Edmond and Jordan Hicks were cleared by the NCAA of wrongdoing (h/t Orangebloods) for having a meal paid for by an agent (a particularly stupid agent, I might add) - a reasonable reward for prompt self-reporting and the trivial nature of the offense.

Cedric Reed and Desmond Jackson were also cleared earlier because they'd paid for their own meals.

None of these players will face NCAA discipline and I suspect Charlie Strong's discipline won't be much more than a head shake and couple of up-downs.

A little sunshine on Black Friday.
