The promising offensive tackle - a legitimate NFL talent - already on suspension for multiple violations of team rules, has been dismissed from the team.
This is the ninth Longhorn player that Strong has dismissed since coming to Austin.
The Longhorns are struggling badly at OT (starting a converted guard and a recent 4th string defensive tackle) and Kennedy Estelle could have offered a significant upgrade later in the year once he re-established his football legs.
That's not going to happen. It would be easy to compromise with the Longhorns in such dire straits, but as Charlie Strong mentioned in another press conference earlier in the year when discussing the suspended players:
"They must become us. We will never become them."
