LB Malik Jefferson
CB Davante Davis
OG Patrick Vahe
OT Connor Williams
**
Malik was also tabbed as preseason Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year. Jefferson's talent and work ethic can't be disputed, but he'll need other players to step up in order for him to showcase his wares properly. He actually struggled as a traditional linebacker last year, but if we can get him coming off of the edge and covered up from pesky traffic, he'll have a chance to shine.
Davante is a no-brainer if he can pair last year's physicality without busting assignments.
Vahe wasn't a sound pass blocker last year, but he plays hard and he could take a big step.
Hard to argue with Connor.
Anyone omitted that shouldn't be? What do you think?
