Texas Longhorns To Face Ole Miss Rebels in Primetime
Talking about the Night Game Multiplier. Your trip to the Grove just got a lot more interesting...
It's been announced that the Texas / Ole Miss game in Oxford on 9/15 will be at 8:15 CST.
The only question is whether you will still be standing.
If you don't already have plans to be there and are lacking the convenient excuse of recently acquiring a newborn, your priorities in life need to be reexamined.
There are other jobs and families to come home to should yours end up needing to be replaced. Given that the first two games of the season will be aired on the Longhorn Network, this will be the first chance for many to see your 2012 Big 12 Champion Longhorns.
Scipio and various muscled up Rebels drinking heavily from Red Solo Cups have already discussed the match up.
That's not a prediction. It's a guarantee. Just as long as we can solve our fullback quandary. You diggs?
And there's an awesome slate of afternoon games to watch whilst crushing Keystone tallboys and elevator eye humping the nearest McKenzie with your brohost, Brodie Pomeroy, in the KA tent. (Contact BC Tours if you need an assist.)
Florida-Tennessee - 5:00 on ESPN (lead-in to Horns game)
USC-Stanford - 6:30 on FSN
ND-Mich State - 7:00 on ABC
Are you ready for some football?

How recently acquired does the baby have to be?
Does my two-year-old exempt me from your ridicule? Or should I start re-examining?

Now
we just need to figure out how to keep Mack away from the team for an entire day for a road game so there are no slide shows with mascots and talks of withstanding surges.

Now they're gonna come out
And punch you in the mouth. This is part of the first 15 plays we have scripted. The louder we let their crowd get early the quicker they will tire out and our second half comeback can unfold as scheduled.

The good ol' Rocky 3 approach
Let him punch you in the face until he gets tired.
Hopefully Wylie has at least purged the ‘awkward man-hug on the beach’ element of our training regimen.

According to 610 AM in Houston...
…Texas doesn’t stand a prayer against this quality SEC program…

That is the worst sports talk radio in Houston.
You can safely disregard about 90% of what they say. On any topic.
To err is human...but humans have such low standards.

“SEC guy” on 790 has more valuable insight.

Morning or afternoon
both are terrible…but if I had to bet it was John Lopez in the morning who said it.
Pardon the typos. Where is the splchec?
All new states are infested, more or less, by a class of noisy, second-rate men who are always in favor of rash and extreme measures, but Texas was absolutely overrun by such men. --Sam Houston--

I’m thinking three overtimes and we join our game at the end of the first quarter.

Logistics
Has anyone been to a game at Ole Miss?
Is Stubhub the best place to get tickets?
Flying into Memphis or Jackson?
Anything else I should know?
Appreciate the thoughts.

I went to Alabama - Ole Miss in Oxford a few years ago
Stubhub is fine for tickets if you want the guarantee you’ll get into the stadium. I’d scalp at the stadium myself, but I know some people don’t like to do that. You’ll be surprised at how many Ole Miss people don’t have an interest in going into the game, so tickets will be floating around if you look.
Fly into Memphis. It’s an hour closer and has more flight options.
Have fun. It’s a great road trip.
