USA Basketball: Olympic Team Adds Harden, Davis To Roster Selection
I've been following the next Dream Team with some interest and now that Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose will be unavailable for Team USA in London, the roster has some exciting young talents emerging for consideration.
The U.S. recently added college player of the year Anthony Davis and Oklahoma City's James Harden to its pool of finalists.
Anthony Davis will be the #1 pick in the NBA draft and though he's still a teen, he's one of the best pure shot blockers on the planet. He has situational value, is a strong finisher in transition, and certainly won't grumble at the end of the bench. He fits Coach K's team vision of speed, defensive length, and the ability to defend multiple positions, so don't be surprised if he grabs a roster spot over more established veterans.
22 year old James Harden has become Black Havlicek - an efficient scorer, ball-handler, passer, and rebounder who is basically OKC's victory caulk. And anyone who defends him is caulk block. I expect him to grab a 12 man roster spot.

WatchESPN Now Available on Comcast and Yes It Does Matter To the LHN
Beginning today, Comcast cable subscribers can access ESPN content on their mobile devices through the WatchESPN app.
It's a free download at the iTunes Store. Access on Android devices will be available in the coming months.
WatchESPN is being offered as a perk to cable subscribers. Both ESPN and the cable providers see content on the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad or XBOX giving subscribers the ability to have "TV Everywhere," and act as incentive to not cut the cord of cable TV.

Barrett Matthews opts not to share Parmesan, four Longhorns arrested
Who knows what actually happened last night at Roppollo's Pizzeria at 1:30 a.m., but it was enough for four Longhorns to get slapped with a Class C Misdemeanor "failure to obey a lawful order" charge.
In other words, they refused to GTFO.
Rumors range from Kenny Vaccaro insisting on tossing the dough for his own pizza to Barrett Matthews hoarding what was rightfully Alex Okafor's parmesan cheese. Eryon Barnett was also there, even though he has officially transferred. Is he working for the Aggies? Critical questions abound. It's also likely some of 6th Street's finest asshole Robocop's were involved.

The Departed: Missouri Tigers Own Texas Athletics in Big 12 Valedictory; What Does The SEC Hold?
In contrast to the Aggies spectacular toe-stubbing departure, the Missouri Tigers have been as hard on the Longhorns in their valedictory tour as Texas is on women and horses. We played (Siegfried &) Roy to the Missouri Tiger in 2011-2012 and it's going to be difficult to get the blood out of our sequins.
- Missouri football beat Texas 17-5 on a shag rug laid over rubble that claimed Fozzy's knee and the remnants of David Ash's confidence. As a general rule, I never like losing games to teams whose public address announcer leads 1st down cheers
- Missouri basketball, led by former Longhorn assistant Frank Haith, blanked Texas 3-0. They went on to lose to a 15 seed in the NCAA tournament, which, though amusing, doesn't make us look any better
- Finally, Missouri baseball beat Texas 2 out of 3 this weekend to seal our ignominy

Texas Basketball: Tulsa Transfer Jordan Clarkson Picks Missouri
After visiting Columbia and chatting with Frank Haith, shooting guard Jordan Clarkson has decided to transfer from Tulsa to Missouri. He will sit out the 2012-13 season and have two more years of eligibility starting in the fall of 2013. Clarkson had been linked to Texas as a possible transfer destination. However, after meeting with Tulsa athletic director Ross Parmley, Clarkson was denied a LOI release to Texas, along with Baylor, Texas A&M, and Arizona.

Antwuan Davis Is Texas Longhorn Commit #14
I'm excited about this commit as I've been extremely high on Davis since seeing his film a few months ago.
Davis relishes contact and he's explosive as hell. He hasn't learned the finer points of technique, but that's why Akina makes the big bucks. Davis was recently clocked at a 10.45 100 meters and dropped a 4.36 40 (Mad Dog timed) at a Texas camp. When I see elite track speed show up in pads paired with aggression and quickness on a 6 foot frame, I'm wondering how anyone could have him ranked below the Top 10 players in the state. In fact, if I have any criticism of Davis, it's that he loves contact so much, he can't resist late shots on receivers after dominating them at the LOS.
