Read this post and then read this article. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/recruiting/2016/02/01/big-12-football-recruiting-texas-oklahoma-baylor-tcu/79643502/
I see more and more of these types of articles. Why? Because the kernel of truth here is that the Big 12 is living on borrowed time. Yes, I hope we recruit well tomorrow but should it really have to come down to this? Every year?
So, while this kills me to say this, maybe we need to take our medicine now. Ironically, a bad recruiting year and another bad record in the fall of 2016 and maybe, just maybe, we can join a better conference.
Now, all you people wearing your orange tinted glasses, go ahead and take your shots in reply. It won't change the fact that if Texas does not leave the Big 12 first, then OU will.
Oh yeah - another article. http://espn.go.com/blog/big12/post/_/id/109392/next-three-months-could-determine-future-of-big-12
