For those of you who cannot stomach TexAgs, it appears that A&M is about to lose their second 5 star quarterback (Kyler Murray) to transfer weeks before their bowl game.
To those who would revel in watching the tsunami of fate finally overwhelm our brethren east of Lexington, pay close attention:
The catastrophe that is about to befall A&M should be unsettlingly familiar to the Longhorn faithful. We saw the same wave of swag envelop our program and devour it like a biblical plague of locusts. The four horsemen "Entitlement," "Laziness," "Transfers," and "Manny Diaz" laid waste to our coveted 5 star recruits. Then the morning star Mackwood fell and turned the recruiting rivers sour. We were forced to atone for our sins as Gabriel blew his horn, ushering in an era of reckoning upon the timid remainders of our beloved Horns.
Now that we have wandered in the desert for the requisite 40 years, we stand upon a precipice overlooking our past and the present. We can clearly see how far we have come, can't we? The fires of football armageddon that enveloped us have now spread to Aggieland, so that we may witness it again.
Let us not forget what lead us to our damnation, nor forget who lead us from it. If we do forget, look no further than 90 miles east for a grim reminder, and consider our own future if we stray again from the path of enlightenment.
Friends, the way forward may still be fraught with danger and uncertainty, but the way back is certain doom. Have faith in Strong, give thanks that we don't have Sumlin, and pray for my Aggies.
