Alternate GD song parody - set to "Time Warp"
I can't compete with Scip's spoken word poetry, but had to get this out of my head so here's "Let's Do the GD Again" set to "Time Warp" from the Rocky Horror Picture Show:
KirkFarentz:
It's astounding;
Yards are fleeting;
Madness takes its toll.
But listen closely...
GoldandBlack:
Not for very much longer.
KirkFarentz:
GD is in control.
I'll remember doing the GD
Drinking all game then
The Blackness will hit me
GoldandBlack:
And Hawkeyes will be calling...
Iowans:
Let's do the GD again.
Let's do the GD again.
PlaybyPlayguy:
It's just a pass to the left.
Iowans:
And then a toss to the right.
PlaybyPlayguy:
Catch it short of the sticks.
Iowans:
And don’t put up a fight.
But it's the bubble screen
That really drives you insane.
Let's do the GD again.
Let's do the GD again.
GoldandBlack:
It's so dreamy, a fantasy for DBs.
It’s like he can't see me, no, not at all.
In another dimension, with
horizontal intention,
Short film study and I see all.
KirkFarentz:
With a bit of a ball flip
GoldandBlack:
You're into the yard slip.
KirkFarentz:
And nothing can ever be the same.
GoldandBlack:
He’s spaced out on vacation.
KirkFarentz:
Like he’s under sedation.
Iowans:
Let's do the GD again.
Let's do the GD again.
Iowa City:
Well I was walking in the booth
just a-having a think
When a slug of a guy gave me an
evil wink.
He shook-a me up, he took me by surprise.
He had animal crackers, and the
devil's eyes.
He stared at me and I felt a change.
Yards meant nothing, never would again.

Excellent
And brings back great memories of seeing the RHPS during its first run at the Varsity Theater during my sophomore year.
