This coming Sunday, 1998 Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams will have a statue of his likeness unveiled with a dedication ceremony at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. It is all part of the The 2012 Texas Football Spring Jamboree presented by Time Warner Cable.

The dedication ceremony is scheduled for 1:30 pm to be followed at 2:00 pm by the Orange-White scrimmage, to be telecast on the Longhorn Network, which Time Warner refuses to carry.

Admission is free to the Jamboree and 10,000 Ricky Williams posters will be distributed at the end of the scrimmage.

It's Bill Byrnes' fault...

that LHN isn’t being seen on every viddy set in the land.

I don’t know what he did or how he did it, but the sneaky bastard is the one at fault here.

I have a suspicion he was sent here by a secret cabal of Big10 and $EC fat cats to destroy the Big 12-2-1-1+2 by hoisting the two biggest names - first Nebrasky and now Texas A, and M, right out from under us, pretendering to be their Athaletics Director one at a time. Then Missuri and Colarado, to make the conference narrower and lower at the same time. How did he do that?

One thing we know for sure: if the True Story of Bill Byrnes ever comes out, it’ll be on LHN, and no one will ever hear or see it.
