Is it just a Sooner thing or an Okie thing or region of Okie thing?

I am liking the OKC Thunder season (the Mavericks Season coming to an end not withstanding, I am looking at you Mavs for not re-signing Tyson Chandler and the Lamar Odom crapola experience) mainly because I am a KD fan and I like seeing the Lakers go down to anybody but ... I think a bit of what makes Sooner fans so special might have surfaced with this story:

After living in OKC for 12 years...

I can see a portion of the Land of Thieves doing something like this (the tee-shirt)…They cannot just be civil and act like a first class town. I still love that they support our Great University by buying longhorn stickers and such just to put them upside down. Kinda like our agro brothers, individually some are great people, but as a group, that can be another story. The only reason I like the Thunder is because of KD.

As far as the shooting goes, the arena is on the edge of a big gang area (the other side of I-40. My guess it is gangsters being gangsters.

Thank the Lord above, I have been working in the Great state of Texas for 18 months and my family will be down for good in June. I never want to go back to there again (might go back to visit some of the nice individuals)
