It's his fault for still not being in Tennessee
If he didn’t have that meltdown, Fisher still would have been fired and he would have stayed put. However, he’s a great reminder that where players go and how they are handled by the coaching staff has an enormous influence on how things turn out. I can only imagine the great things he would have done if he had a coach who actually supported him and tried to fit the offense around him. That he still became one of the better quarterbacks in the game before that fateful injury and subsequent emotional outburst is a testament t his talent. Screw Jeff Fisher.

To be fair, I believe he had adequate reason to have a meltdown...
Though, I rarely (if ever) condone the loss of control over one’s faculties at any point, for any reason (this case is no different).
Not defending his actions. Merely putting his actions in context.

He still shouldn't have done it...
But I understand why he did.
’Tis a shame.
Hopefully, someone will give him a chance elsewhere and he can climb back into the spotlight of relevance.
Until then… \m/

I'm not sure Fisher would have been fired without the VY meltdown.
But it’s all pointless speculation at this point.
