The Texas men's Golf team is squaring off against 'Bama for the National Championship today, currently underway and we're leading in three out of four matches early on with one left to start.

Antwaun Davis ripped off a 40 in the 4.3 range and Ricky Seals-Jones posted a 4.4. Freaky fast at that size.

I don’t have nbc sports, but I can usually get the USMNT games en espanol. it appears that’s not the case on standard TW cable in Austin. and a quick glance seems to reveal that only the MEX v. BRA tilt is being streamed at univision.com.
on the topic of MEX/BRA, I haven’t really minded El Tri lately, but am kind of hoping to see Brazil hand out some beat down in Jerryworld.

Ricky Fowler's problem is that weird shade of orange he insists on wearing.
Spencer Levine has never won on the tour, and he looks like he is beginning to feel the pressure.
Tiger has played the front 9 in 10 under par this week, but is +4 on the back side.

It looks like it will come down to a match between Cory Whitsett of Alabama and Dylan Frittelli who are all square through 15 holes.
Whitsett is from Houston.

If you have ever hit out of kikuyu grass you know exactly how Whitsett feels.
That stuff can make your club go completely underneath the ball without touching it. Or it will grab your club face and you will stub it, or you will hurry and clip it sending it screaming off the green.
Not fun, not fun at all.

Whitsett went to my high school—Houston Memorial. He is a terrific player and will recover. It is a lot easier to whiff a green-side chip out of thick grass than you think.
